Job Description

Responsible for procuring business, developing relationships and servicing a portfolio of clients and new prospects. Reporting directly to the Director of Employee Benefits whilst working closely with Financial Advisor Representatives of the Company. 

Continuous development, and skill sets training available for candidates who may be interested to explore a financial advisory career pathway. 

This role too provides exposure to the Insurance Technology world, and knowledge of new methods in providing financial advisory services to clients, using technology as an enabler.

Responsibilities 

  • Continuously build leads, prospects and ultimately secure the appointment. Develop, secure, and expand EB business aggressively.
  • Work with financial advisor representatives on prospects insurance restructuring.
  • Assist in servicing related matters for existing and new Employee Benefits(EB) clients. 
  • Follow up on outstanding premiums and claims excesses. 
  • Identify and analyse selected market segments for various group products. 
  • Meet monthly budget in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure BNM regulations and compliance requirements are met. 

 

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of working experience within the Malaysian insurance industry doing business development, brokering, managing sales and client interaction 

Have interest in using technology to build unique propositions for the Malaysian market, and improve insurance process efficiencies
