Position Summary
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager – North & Central is responsible for leading and transforming Energizer's Traditional Trade business across Northern & Central Vietnam.
This role goes beyond delivering sales and distribution targets. The incumbent will play a critical leadership role in rebuilding and strengthening the regional sales organization, developing team capability, improving execution discipline, and driving distributor engagement and accountability.
The successful candidate will create a strong operating foundation, foster a high-performance culture, and lead sustainable business growth in a dynamic and challenging market environment.
We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong resilience, perseverance, and a passion for building teams, developing people, and transforming business performance through disciplined execution and strong distributor partnerships.
The talent will lead and develop a team of Area Sales Manager; Area Sales Executive and Sales Representative; sales strategy planning and execution, towards Energizer’s growth and contribute to overall sales revenue.
Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Commercial Performance
- Develop and execute annual business plans, sales strategies and regional growth initiatives aligned with company objectives.
- Own and deliver regional KPIs including NIS, IMS, Distribution, Inventory Health, Trade Investment effectiveness and Gross Margin.
- Analyze market opportunities, competitive activities, customer dynamics and channel developments to drive sustainable growth.
- Ensure effective deployment and execution of sales and trade marketing programs, POSM across the region.
- Monitor business performance and proactively identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
Distributor Management & Operational Excellence
- Lead distributor partners to achieve business objectives while establishing strong accountability and ownership.
- Develop distributor capability, operating discipline and execution standards to support long-term business growth.
- Drive regular business reviews with distributors, including performance management, forecasting, inventory management and resource planning.
- Ensure distributor compliance with company policies, systems, processes and reporting requirements.
- Strengthen distributor involvement in category development, sales execution, people management and business planning.
- Resolve operational issues and improve distributor effectiveness to ensure smooth business operations and execution excellence.
- Ensure distributor data integrity, inventory accuracy and timely reporting.
Organization Building & People Development
- Build and develop a high-performing sales organization across Northern & Central Vietnam.
- Recruit, coach and develop Area Sales Managers and frontline sales leaders to strengthen organizational capability.
- Identify capability gaps and implement structured coaching, field training and development plans.
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, teamwork and execution excellence.
- Drive employee engagement, collaboration and retention within the sales organization.
Execution Excellence & Market Development
- Strengthen sales fundamentals including coverage, distribution, visibility, merchandising and in-store execution.
- Drive field execution discipline and establish consistent ways of working across territories.
- Spend significant time in market coaching teams, developing distributor capability and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor execution quality and ensure sales investments generate measurable business returns.
- Ensure optimal utilization of company resources and commercial investments.
Change Management & Business Transformation
- Lead organizational transformation and capability-building initiatives within the region.
- Build structure, discipline and sustainable operating processes in an evolving business environment.
- Drive adoption of SFA & DMS systems, performance management routines and execution standards.
- Simplify ways of working and improve overall sales force effectiveness.
- Champion positive change and maintain team motivation during periods of transformation.
- Act as a role model for Energizer values, ownership and winning culture.

What we are looking for
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of FMCG sales experience with significant exposure to Traditional Trade.
- Proven experience in managing distributors, field sales operations and regional sales organizations.
- Strong experience in Northern & Central Vietnam market management is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building, rebuilding or transforming sales organizations, territories or distributor networks.
- Strong understanding of route-to-market, distributor operations and sales force effectiveness.
