Human Resources Business Partner, EMEA 

Position Summary 

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), EMEA supports leaders and employees across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region by providing guidance on employee relations, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, performance management, employee development, and talent acquisition. 

As the primary HR contact for assigned client groups, the HRBP works closely with managers to support business objectives, strengthen team effectiveness, address employee matters, and help build a positive and productive work environment. The role also partners with leaders to attract, retain, and develop talent while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies. 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Partnership 

  • Partner with managers to understand business priorities, workforce challenges, and organizational needs. 

  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, team effectiveness, organizational structure, and employee-related matters. 

  • Support leaders in identifying talent needs, succession considerations, and development opportunities. 

  • Assist managers in addressing business and people challenges while balancing operational and employee needs. 

Employee Relations 

  • Advise managers and employees on workplace concerns, performance matters, policy interpretation, and employment-related issues. 

  • Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and practices. 

  • Support conflict resolution and employee relations initiatives. 

Talent & Performance Management 

  • Support performance management activities, including goal setting, performance discussions, and development planning. 

  • Coach managers on employee performance, feedback, and development opportunities. 

  • Participate in talent review and succession planning processes. 

  • Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and career development. 

Organizational Effectiveness & Change 

  • Support organizational changes, structure evolutions, and business transformation initiatives. 

  • Assist leaders in assessing workforce impacts and implementing organizational changes. 

  • Partner with managers to support communication and employee engagement during periods of change. 

Talent Acquisition 

  • Lead recruitment activities for assigned positions across the EMEA region. 

  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring requirements and support selection decisions. 

  • Source, assess, and recommend candidates for various positions. 

  • Monitor market trends and provide insights on talent availability and hiring practices. 

  • Support onboarding activities to facilitate successful integration of new employees. 

Compliance & HR Operations 

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and company policies across assigned countries. 

  • Maintain awareness of legislative developments and employment practices within the region. 

  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and HR-related documentation. 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes. 

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. 

Experience 

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or comparable role. 

  • Experience supporting managers and employees within a multinational organization. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters and providing day-to-day HR support to business leaders. 

  • Experience leading full-cycle recruitment activities for professional, technical, and sales positions. 

  • Experience working across multiple countries within the EMEA region is considered an asset. 

  • Experience within a technology, software, telecommunications, engineering or environment is also considered an asset. 

Knowledge & Skills 

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 

  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities. 

  • Sound judgment and ability to manage confidential information with discretion. 

  • Strong recruitment, interviewing, and talent assessment capabilities. 

  • Solid understanding of employee relations practices and employment legislation. 

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment. 

  • Proficiency with AI tools, HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications. 

Languages 

  • Professional proficiency in English is required. 

  • Additional European languages are considered an asset.
