In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, review, and interpret financial data across three affiliated companies. Each day, You will showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and production to streamline financial processes. Your work will directly support the accuracy of SAFE and customs filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance while driving financial performance and optimizing business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Cycle Accounting & Report Review
- Manage the full set of books for three affiliated companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review system-generated PRC monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, identify discrepancies or logic errors, trace root causes, and initiate corrective adjustments.
- Handle intercompany transaction reconciliation, elimination of entries, and coordination for consolidated reporting.
2. Statistical Reporting & Tax Collaboration
- Prepare and submit statistical reports via the National Statistical Online Direct Reporting System, ensuring timeliness and data integrity.
- Collaborate closely with the tax department, providing required financial documents, vouchers, and data support upon request.
3. SAFE Reporting & Compliance Management
- Prepare and submit all reports required by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE), including but not limited to international statistics, foreign debt registration, and direct investment equity surveys.
- Ensure the reasonableness, accuracy, and completeness of SAFE reports; maintain a well-organized filing archive for audit readiness.
- Monitor changes in foreign exchange policies and adjust internal procedures accordingly to ensure ongoing compliance.
4. Cost Allocation & Analysis
- Execute cost allocation schemes for shared resources and cross-department/cross-company expenses.
- Maintain cost center structures, monitor budget execution, and provide early warnings on abnormal cost fluctuations.
5. Month-End Closing & Adjustments
- Lead the month-end closing process, including revenue recognition, cost matching, depreciation/amortization accruals, and prepaid/deferred expense handling.
- Perform necessary month-end adjustments based on business realities to ensure accrual-based accounting accuracy.
6. Cross-Functional Communication & Process Coordination
- Serve as the key finance interface with procurement, sales, and production planning departments, coordinating invoice verification, payment approvals, and revenue recognition workflows.
- Educate business teams on finance policies and procedures to standardize front-end operations and reduce back-end rework.
- Participate in the design of financial processes for new business models, embedding control points from the outset.
7. Financial Analysis & Customs Reporting
- Conduct regular financial analysis on revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow, performing YoY, MoM, and budget variance comparisons.
- Prepare and verify customs reports (e.g., processing trade manual reconciliation, import/export data statistics) to ensure regulatory compliance.
8. Other Duties
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Continuously optimize SAP financial module settings and operational workflows to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.
- Certified Intermediate Accountant or CPA preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of finance experience, with at least 1 year of full cycle accounting responsibility.
- Manufacturing company experience preferred; familiarity with production cost accounting, BOM logic, and manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
- Experience managing books for multiple affiliated companies (especially intercompany transactions) is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of US & PRC GAAP and relevant tax/financial regulations.
- Able to review PRC financial statements, understand their format and inter-statement relationships, and quickly identify and resolve data issues.
- Proficient in National Statistical Online Direct Reporting System operations and statistical requirements.
- Familiar with SAFE reporting systems and submission procedures; able to independently prepare and archive SAFE-related reports.
- Solid hands-on experience in cost allocation and month-end closing/adjustments.
- Able to independently prepare customs reports (processing trade reconciliation, import/export data).
- Must be proficient in SAP (FI/CO modules), capable of independent system operation, data query, and issue troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in foreign-invested manufacturing enterprises or group-level financial analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- English proficiency as a working language.
