What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support Mealtime– Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
- Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
- Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
- Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
- Provide Responsive Support – Respond with kindness and compassion.
- Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
- Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in after-hour on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Rotation Schedule: Be available for evening and weekend shifts as part of the rotation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A current and valid Michigan CNA Certification, required.
- CPR Certified or willing to optain.
- Six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed CNA, preferred.
- Prior home care experience, preferred.
- The ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions.
- A heart for helping others and the physical ability to lift, stand, bend, transfer, stretch, walk, push, and pull as needed.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds frequently is required
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
