Job Description
Hours Per Day: 7.00 (8:00 � 3:30)
Work Year: 10 Months Per Year -- Off during school breaks.
Minimum Pay Rate: $17.00 Per Hour (Effective in the 2026-2027 school year.)

Qualifications:
There are no education qualifications required for this position.
- First aid knowledge and medical experience is preferred, not required.
- Strong clerical, record keeping, computer, and written and oral communication skills are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Infinite Campus is desired.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- The ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues.
- The ability to carry out oral and written instructions.
- Displays a positive attitude and builds healthy relationships with students, staff and families.
Essential Functions:
- Must be comfortable assisting the school nurse in caring for children with injuries or illness.
- Must be able to maintain a calm, caring, and confidential environment, especially in times of crisis.
- Assist school nurse with paperwork required for health screenings.
- Assist school nurse with health record keeping and computer data entry.
- Responsible for daily attendance and follow up on excessive absences with office staff.
- Responsible for providing student attendance data for and participation on attendance committee.
- Ability to handle high volume of phone calls and daily activities in a busy office.
- The successful candidate will be a person who has good interpersonal skills and is flexible, creative, calm, and open to constructive feedback.
- Other duties as assigned by building administration.
