Responsible for client satisfaction and leading client engagements to ensure that each project is performed to Protiviti quality standards of quality and meet the needs of the client. Directors work with Managing Directors to ensure that each client project closes with the client satisfied with our service and the quality of our work Directors are focused on developing business opportunities in the marketplace and are valuable and influential leaders within our organisation and the business community. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Establish and scale a new Financial Services Transformation capability, defining the vision, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy. 

  • Shape the operating model, service offerings, and delivery approach across the financial services sector.  

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, including recruitment, capability development, and performance management. 

  • Leverage  your own established senior-level network across Financial Services to originate, develop, and convert new client opportunities. 

  • Own and drive revenue growth through proactive business development, account leadership, and pipeline management. 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and executive stakeholders, shaping transformation agendas and influencing strategic decision-making. 

  • Lead complex, large-scale transformation programmes spanning operating model change, digital transformation, regulatory change, and cost optimisation. 

  • Provide executive oversight of key engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery, commercial performance, and client satisfaction. 

  • Bring deep Financial Services industry insight to advise clients on emerging trends, regulatory developments, and market challenges. 

  • Develop and promote thought leadership, points of view, and market insights to enhance the firm’s brand and credibility in Financial Services. 

  • Assists Engagement MD in managing engagement risk 

  • Enhances Protiviti’s market presence and exposure to develop opportunities with new clients 

Do Your Talents Include the Following?    

  • Extensive experience in management consulting, professional services, or a leading Financial Services organisation at a senior level. 

  • Deep Financial Services industry experience, gained through advisory or in-industry roles, across one or more sectors such as banking, capital markets, insurance, asset management, or payments. 

  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes within Financial Services, including operating model change, digital transformation, regulatory change, and/or cost and efficiency initiatives. 

  • Demonstrated success in building, scaling, or significantly growing a consulting capability, practice, or business unit. 

  • Strong, established network of senior client relationships across Financial Services 

  • Proven track record of winning and leading complex consulting engagements 

  • Experience leading major bids and proposals 

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams  

  • Strong people leadership capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and succession planning. 

Our Workplace and Employment Process 

Protiviti practices a hybrid working model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.     

Remuneration and Benefits 

Starting salaries are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location.  

Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year. Protiviti also recognises up to 10 paid holidays each calendar year and we have additional benefits as part of the Robert Half Enterprise.
