IT Manager (Poseidon project)

Position: IT Manager Location: Ropczyce, Poland Base salary rate: 18,000-25,000 PLN gross/monthly   Kidde is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Ropczyce. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives, while partnering with global stakeholders and supporting the continued growth of our manufacturing operations.   Responsibilities: Bridge traditional IT systems (ERP, databases) with operational technology. Oversee hardware, software, networks, and systems including performance and maintenance. Act as partner to HQ IT team in IT strategy creation. Lead deployment of new system (SAP R4 Hanna) and ensure smooth integration. with existing infrastructure. Ensure systems comply with regulations. Maintain documentation for processes, systems, and policies. Plan and execute disaster recovery & Business continuity. Protect systems and data from threats. Implement and maintain security polices. Respond to incidents like breaches or malware attack. Manage IT team members including contractors. Plan and control IT budget.   Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA will be in plus). Networking, servers, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc.) experience. 10+ years in IT with exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments. Cybersecurity fundamentals. ERP system implementation experience will be in plus. Team management and communication. Problem-solving and decision-making. Project management (Agile, ITIL frameworks often preferred). Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and manage complex topics. Fluent in English.
