Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with 10 to 14 years of hands‑on experience building and managing cloud‑based infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, networking, databases, and automation tools, and will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to optimize performance, ensure secure deployments, and maintain infrastructure in line with industry’s best practices.   Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support business‑critical applications. Partner with engineering and operations teams to enable efficient, dependable deployment of applications and services. Manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, ELB/ALB, S3, VPC, Route53, and AWS VPN Implement and maintain configuration management and automation using SaltStack, Configure, tune, and optimize NGINX for high‑availability and performance‑critical web applications. Support messaging platforms including Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Administer data platforms including Cassandra (ScyllaDB, Amazon Keyspaces), PostgreSQL, pgpool, Redis, and Redis Cluster Build and operate monitoring and logging solutions using Zabbix, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, and Syslog, Manage secure network connectivity using IPSec and OpenVPN Drive operational excellence by adhering to industry best practices, security standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.   Job Requirements Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS and cybersecurity Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, virtual machines, Docker, and related infrastructure technologies Strong knowledge of networking, VM, Docker, and related technologies. In-depth understanding of cyber security principles and best practices. Experience with the following technologies is highly desirable: APNs, FCM, PostgreSQL, pgpool, Redis, Redis cluster, Zabbix, ELK, Grafana, Syslog, IPSec, OpenVPN. Understanding of monitoring principles and approaches.   Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.   Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work in an agile, fast‑paced environment. Ownership mindset and a focus on quality delivery.
