Packing Bay Operative – Padeswood

Location: Padeswood

Are you an experienced operative with an FLT licence or willingness to train looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? We’re looking for a Packing Bay Operative to join our team at Padeswood, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient packing and dispatch of our products.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operating Arodo and Ventomatic packing machines safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out first-line maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the Packing Bay
  • Using a Forklift Truck (FLT) to unload plant deliveries and load outgoing wagons
  • Supporting general warehouse duties, including stock handling and organisation
  • Working as part of a team to achieve production targets and KPIs
  • Following all Heidelberg Materials UK processes to ensure safe working practices at all times

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, packing, or warehouse environment
  • FLT licence (or willingness to train)
  • Strong focus on health & safety
  • A proactive and reliable team player
  • Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced environment
