Job Description
A couple in Orange County, New York, is seeking an experienced and proactive Domestic Couple to oversee the care and maintenance of their 8,000-square-foot estate. The ideal candidates will be a team-oriented couple with strong household management skills, attention to detail, and a genuine comfort working around animals. Separate housing is provided nearby.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed housekeeping and maintain the residence to a high standard
- Manage laundry, linen care, and wardrobe organization
- Monitor household supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Ensure the home remains organized, clean, and guest-ready
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and the on-site caretaker as needed
- Report maintenance issues and oversee service appointments when appropriate
- Provide attentive care for two German Shepherds, assist with feeding, exercise, and general well-being of the animals
- Anticipate the principals' needs and provide proactive assistance
- Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the household
Qualifications
- Strong housekeeping and laundry skills
- Experience caring for dogs
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Valid driver's licenses and clean driving records
