Job Description
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and full inventory audits
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming parts shipments
- Organize and label parts in designated storage areas for easy retrieval
- Issue parts to technicians and record usage in the inventory system
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when reordering is needed
- Track back-orders, returns, and warranty parts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts room or warehouse
- Update inventory records in the company’s software system
- Assist with vendor communication, pricing updates, and purchase orders
- Prepare parts for outgoing shipments when required
- Support other departments with parts‑related inquiries
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, automotive, or equipment parts preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills: familiarity with inventory management software is a plus
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technicians, vendors, and management
- Ability to lift, carry, and move parts or boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access shelving
- Regular use of hands and arms for sorting, labeling, and organizing parts
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or parts‑room environment, which may involve varying temperatures
