POSITION SUMMARY:As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability of our high-speed production equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This role is ideal for a motivated tradesperson who thrives in a hands-on environment and is looking to grow their skillset across multiple disciplines, including opportunities to expand into additional certifications. As a Maintenance Technician, you can expect: 12-hour shifts 4 days on/4 days off (days & nights switching every 16 calendar days) Employee referral program Company paid life insurance, health and dental benefits RRSP company match On the job training Uniforms Safety shoe allowance Clean and safe work environment Teamwork Continuous skills development RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using technical drawings and schematics. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Install, align, repair, and modify production equipment and related systems. Support and participate in continuous improvement and reliability projects. Fabricate, adjust, or replace components as needed to keep equipment running optimally. Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all health, safety, and lockout procedures. Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth production operations. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Licensed electrician or licensed millwright or 3rd year or higher apprentice working toward certification. Minimum of 3-5 years’ hands on experience in a high-speed packaging manufacturing environment (bottling or plastics preferred). Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and controls. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams. Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and documentation practices. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. PAY RATE:$30.77-40.31/hr, based on experience and certificationLicensed Millwrights and Electricians earn $38.19–$40.31/hr
