Your new role
As an Advanced Logistics & Distribution Professional, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable and efficient delivery of products to affiliates and external customers worldwide. You will operate in a global setup, working closely with internal stakeholders, warehouses and external logistics partners, while actively driving optimisation across distribution and transport flows.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Owning end‑to‑end delivery execution, including shipment coordination and shipping documentation
- Driving operational excellence through data‑driven improvements across distribution and transport flows
- Collaborating closely with 4PL providers and warehouses to ensure efficient planning, including urgent shipments
- Managing and developing relationships with external logistics partners, ensuring performance and continuous improvement
- Acting as a key problem solver during disruptions, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive actions
You will work with a high degree of independence and be expected to proactively identify opportunities to strengthen global logistics performance.
Your new department
You will join Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D) within Novo Nordisk Supply Chain HQ, located in Taastrup. GL&D is responsible for the global distribution of products from production sites to affiliates and regional offices worldwide.
The department focuses on delivering high service levels while balancing cost efficiency and environmental impact. You will become part of a collaborative, international environment where continuous improvement and strong partnerships are key to success.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring solid logistics experience combined with a structured and analytical mindset. You are comfortable working independently while engaging a broad range of stakeholders.
We expect you to have:
- A relevant educational background within logistics, supply chain or freight forwarding
- Minimum 5 years of experience within logistics, distribution or shipment coordination (GDP/pharma is an advantage)
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience translating data into actionable improvements
- Experience with SAP and data tools such as Excel or Power BI (advantage)
- Fluency in spoken and written English

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200 DKK to 838,100 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
