The Position
The coordinator IV, Maintenance & Engineering supports administrative operations, mentors lower-level staff, improves quality through process redesign, and manages advanced visual communication controls while serving as a liaison between executives and employees.
Relationships
Reports to Manager or above
Essential Functions
- Collect and/or entering department data regarding the performance of people, processes, and equipment
- Organize and/or creating visual representations (spreadsheets, reports, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
- Plan and execute projects and special assignments by establishing clear objectives, prioritizing tasks, and managing timelines to ensure expected outcomes
- Coordinate and oversee logistics operations, including ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies to maintain seamless workflow and efficiency
- Monitor project progress and evaluate outcomes, making necessary adjustments to ensure goals are met effectively
- Foster collaboration and gain cooperation from team members across departments to achieve shared objectives in a professional and efficient manner
- Teach, coach and mentor lower-level Department Coordinators
- Improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes
- Implement changes and manage visual communications/controls for production and gathering areas
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, talking, writing, listening. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, carrying, grasping. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Must comply with EHS responsibilities for the position. Working conditions will be heating ventilation and air condition controlled.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study from an accredited university required and a minimum of zero (0) year of relevant experience required
- In lieu of Bachelor's Degree with zero (0) year of experience, may consider an Associate's Degree in related field of study from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience required
- In lieu of Bachelor's Degree with zero (0) year of experience, may consider a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required
- GMP Experience Preferred
- Proficient in all and MS Office Suite applications – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, etc. (intermediate/advanced experience) required
