Responsibilities
You love what you do, now love where you do it.
The Anesthesia Technician is accountable for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies for safe patient use during anesthetic, including stocking anesthesia carts/rooms and equipment, cleans and sterilizes equipment, and checks equipment for malfunctions. Communicates with and assists Anesthesiologists, CRNA, and Managers.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Graduation from an Anesthesia Technician training program preferred
Experience
6 months of Anesthesia Technician or similar experience OR graduation from an Anesthesia Technician training program required
Familiarity with anesthesia equipment/supplies, various modalities, treatments, and medications required
Licenses and Certifications
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
Certified Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Technologist preferred
