Apprentice / Journeyperson Pipefitters
Job Description
We are seeking Pipefitters to support a water piping replacement project within an active operating facility.

Essential Responsibilities:
Support activities related to underground water line replacement including demolition, installation and testing as per drawing specifications
Perform fit-up, alignment, and installation of piping, valves, flanges, and supports
Read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
Support bolt-up, torquing and testing
Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including permit systems and lockout/tagout
Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities
Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality
Qualifications:
Journeyperson Pipefitter or registered apprentice level 2 ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
Previous experience working in industrial construction/maintenance, facility pipeline or pipeline maintenance is required
Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Good attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
Valid driver’s license
Work Conditions:
Applicants who reside in Fort McMurray will be given preference due to the location of the project
Camp accommodations available
Living out allowance available
14 days on, 7 days off shift rotation working 12 hours per day
Must be able to work day or night shifts
