The New Products Manager will lead the comprehensive preparation of the local Israeli market and the company’s operational framework for entry into new therapeutic areas and strategic competition in existing ones. This role is responsible for orchestrating end-to-end launch excellence for high-stakes products, including pre-launch readiness, cross-functional alignment, launch execution, and post-launch optimization, while driving innovation, agility, and market impact.
The role requires a strategic leader who can mobilize diverse cross-functional teams through personal example, creative thinking, and deep understanding of the pre-launch and launch ecosystem. The New Products Manager will combine strong commercial acumen, rigorous financial forecasting, and budget ownership with a patient-centric and science-driven approach, translating complex medical data into compelling marketing strategies and impactful messages that support meaningful clinical behavioural change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and orchestrate end-to-end launch processes for strategic, high-stakes products, including pre-launch readiness, launch execution, and post-launch optimization to ensure market leadership.
- Develop and implement strategic launch plans based on in-depth market analysis, identification of commercial opportunities, and clear pre-launch and launch priorities.
- Drive organizational synergy through strong and ongoing leadership of cross-functional teams, including Access, Medical, Regulatory, and other key stakeholders, in a dynamic and agile environment.
- Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other external stakeholders at both national and global levels.
- Maintain strong interfaces and strategic collaboration with local, regional, and global internal teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Engage key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem, including Sick Funds, Ministry of Health, and additional strategic partners, to support market readiness and successful adoption.
- Lead development of marketing strategies and communication plans by translating complex scientific and medical data into compelling, patient-centric messages that support clinical behavioral change and launch success.
- Continuously map and analyze the patient journey, competitive landscape, and broader healthcare ecosystem across all relevant dimensions to inform strategy and execution.
- Demonstrate operational agility, superior problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, launch outcomes, and market trends to drive data-based decisions and continuous optimization.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and market-specific standards throughout all launch phases.
- Own financial forecasting, P&L responsibility, and budget management with rigorous tracking and reporting to maximize return on investment.
Requirements:
- Strong scientific understanding with the ability to translate complex medical and scientific data into clear, compelling, and impactful business and marketing narratives.
- Proven experience in product management and leading strategic pre-launch and launch activities for new products.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work collaboratively across diverse cross-functional teams and organizational interfaces.
- Strong strategic vision, analytical thinking, leadership capabilities, and the ability to mobilize teams around shared business objectives.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Experience in building and leading strategic collaborations within the healthcare ecosystem and with external stakeholders, including KOLs.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
- Operational agility and flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, business priorities, and organizational needs.
- Creative, proactive, solution-oriented, and commercially minded, with strong judgment and ownership.
- Digital solution orientation and familiarity with digital tools and platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven business and financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, P&L responsibility, and budget management.
- Proven experience or strong aptitude in the Vaccines and Cardiovascular therapeutic areas, particularly in the context of strategic and new product launches.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
