Plastic parts - Product Engineer

Activites:

Missions - attached to Mechanical Department, you will carry out the following principal missions:

• Ensure technical convergence between design team and part supplier in order to ensure manufacturability and performance target for a product
• Ensure day to day communication between design office and component supplier
• Monitors the design of the parts of his scope 
• Ensures the monitoring of the product documentation for the parts within his scope 
• Validates the design product/process feasibility 
• Assists in the product validation process 
• May participate to onsite physical tests
• Contributes to the quality and cost objectives 
• Realize the reporting of his perimeter technical progress 
• Create environment check
• Archive the data for the project within final customer data management system (3D, 2D, material data...) 

Your profile:

• We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer or Technician who contributes to the overall success of the development engineering components
• Your professional career path shows relevant experience related to product CAD design development for automotive components: interior and exterior trims, security systems and lighting components
• Good understanding of CATIA V5 in 3D and 2D. Experience with CATIA V6 is advantageous
• Organized personality and punctual
• We look for a team member with strong communication, teamwork skills, open to learn and evolve
• Good English skills is mandatory
• Additional foreign languages will be appreciated
• Proficient in MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint
