About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to ensure the seamless execution of our daily supply chain operations. In this role, you will act as a dependable team player, coordinating effectively with internal departments and external partners to maintain high operational efficiency. You will execute day-to-day logistics tasks with precision while actively supporting the implementation of strategic process improvements defined by senior leadership.
What you will be expected to do
- Logistics Shipping:
- Collaborate with factories, freight forwarders, and inspection companies to implement ocean shipping booking, cargo inspection, and container loading, ensuring goods arrive safely and on time at overseas destinations.
- Logistics Cost Management:
- Prepare logistics cost budgets for sea freight (FCL/LCL) and air freight based on destination and product information of potential direct customer orders.
- Source quotations from suppliers against actual orders and complete the supplier selection approval process.
- Conduct logistics expense reconciliation, approval and payment application.
- Document Preparation:
- Submit materials to certification bodies for application of product conformity certifications (e.g., CoC/PVoC/SONCAP) required by the destination country.
- Prepare customs clearance documents for import and export (e.g., invoices, packing lists), ensuring compliance and accuracy of documentation
- Data Recording:
- Accurately record shipment data and generate reports;
- Import Policy Research for Products
- Conduct research on access certification policies for new products imported to the destination country.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are
- Bachelor's degree or above;
- At least 5 years of work experience in import-export operations, international cargo transportation, etc.Proficiency with modern statistical analysis and data visualization software.
- Proficient in office software (e.g., Excel) with basic data skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Experience in logistics system operations is preferred.
- Prior experience with product conformity certifications (e.g., CoC/PVoC/SONCAP) for destination countries is preferred.
- Familiarity with customs coding classification for electronic products is preferred.
