Role Overview
The Regional Development Applications Engineer work closely with internal engineering, sales, and customer teams to provide application support for advanced inspection and metrology systems, driving product adoption and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer demos and H2H(head-to-head) evaluations to demonstrate product value
- Support Alpha, Beta, and ramp phases to enable product adoption
- Analyze yield/process issues and provide solutions
- Design experiments and develop application recipes to optimize performance
- Provide troubleshooting and escalation support
- Collaborate with R&D on product validation and data analysis
- Prepare test reports, BKMs, and training materials
- Conduct customer and internal trainings
Minimum Qualifications
- MS (or BS with experience) in Physics, Optics, Materials Science, EE, or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Self-driven, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the English language, and working effectively with different cultures.
- Willing to travel 50–70% domestically and internationally
