REGISTERED NURSE | ACUTE OPERATING ROOM |FULL-TIME DAYS (25427)

The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse provides patient care before, during, and after surgery to ensure safety and positive outcomes. They assess patients, carry out care plans, and closely monitor how patients respond throughout the surgical process. The OR nurse works closely with surgeons and the healthcare team, assisting during procedures by circulating and/or scrubbing. They also educate patients and families, document care, and help with discharge planning. Additionally, they make sure equipment works properly and follow hospital policies to maintain a safe environment. This nurse is under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Director.
