
AI & Tech for Good Manager
Job Description
As the AI for Good Manager, you will architect and lead the global strategy for leveraging artificial intelligence to solve societal challenges and drive community empowerment. Reporting to the Global Head of Product Impact, you will design and scale multi-country programs focused on AI fluency, technical capacity building and social innovation. This role is a hybrid strategy program management and thought leadership, positioned to establish TikTok as a leader in responsible AI and creator-led social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute AI for Good roadmap, focusing on scalable initiatives that drive positive impact. Develop frameworks for creators to leverage generative AI for pro-social outcomes. Define key performance indicators to measure and report efficacy of the above programs.
- Serve as primary liaison to AI Research, Trust and Safety, Product, and Public Policy teams to ensure alignment and that AI for Good initiatives are embedded into all areas and objectives.
- In partnership with the Global Communications Team, translate technical milestones into compelling impact stories. Ensure TikTok is appropriately represented in relevant external stakeholder engagements and industry/partner events.
Minimum Qualification(s):
- Deep understanding of the AI lifecycle, responsible AI principles, and current trends in AI.
- Prove track record of designing and launching global technology-led social impact programs from ground up.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into accessible narratives for diverse audiences, including policymakers, creators, and the general public.
- Experience navigating matrixed global organizations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
Preferred Qualification(s):
- Experience working at a global technology company, AI research lab, or institution at the intersection of tech and policy.
- Academic background in computer science, data ethics or tech policy.
- Strong familiarity with the global creator economy and the ethical implications of AI on digital platforms.
- Existing relationships within the AI ethics community, multilateral organizations (e.g., UN, WEF), or global philanthropic foundations.
