What You’ll Do as a Sales Representative In this key role, you’ll help power our customers’ success while executing effective sales strategies and ensuring an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.   You’ll: Support the sales budget process and consistently achieve sales goals Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to grow market share Participate in joint sales calls with targeted customers Prepare customer quotes and manage opportunities in the CRM system Process customer orders and requests for products and services Monitor back orders and ensure on-time delivery Identify opportunities to train customers on product applications Collaborate with internal departments to meet and exceed customer expectations What Makes You a Great Fit High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred Proven sales experience—business-to-business experience preferred Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the electrical distribution industry What to Expect in This Role Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50 lbs. Monday–Friday (Typical Business Hours) 50%+ of your time will be spent in the office/on the computer Flexibility to participate in customer/vendor events Some travel required 10-20% Why Kirby Risk?
