What you will have an opportunity to do:

Description:

The Guest Relations Attendant is a highly visible, guest-facing role responsible for delivering superior customer service throughout the resort’s entrance and public areas. This position serves as a welcoming point of contact for guests, providing real-time assistance with dining reservations (on and off property), daily activities, resort amenities, spa and recreation offerings, hours of operation, and information about the town and greater Cape Cod area. Using a tablet, the Guest Relations Attendant ensures guests feel informed, supported, and cared for while upholding the service standards of Chatham Bars Inn.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a constant presence at the Shore Road entrance and designated public areas, proactively engaging guests in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner.

• Assist guests with dining reservations both on property and in town, utilizing available systems and local knowledge to provide accurate recommendations.

• Provide detailed information on daily resort activities, experiences, recreation options, spa services, and special events.

• Communicate hours of operation for all resort outlets, amenities, and services, ensuring guests have clear and up-to-date information.

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on the town of Chatham and the greater Cape Cod area, including attractions, transportation, shopping, and dining.

• Use a tablet to access schedules, make reservations, confirm availability, and share visual or digital information with guests as needed.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of all resort amenities, experiences, and seasonal offerings to confidently answer guest questions.

• Coordinate with other departments as needed to assist with guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Monitor lobby and public areas for guest needs, service opportunities, and overall presentation.

• End-of-shift communication with management as needed regarding guest feedback, recurring questions, or operational updates.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a polished, welcoming demeanor.

• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information to guests.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and enjoys frequent guest interaction.

• Comfortable using tablets and digital systems to access information and assist guests.

• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in guest relations, concierge, front desk, hospitality, or luxury resort environments.

• Strong knowledge of Cape Cod, Chatham, or similar resort destinations.

• Experience providing recommendations, making reservations, or coordinating guest experiences.

• Background in customer-facing roles requiring professionalism, multitasking, and high service standards.
