Provides training to co-workers as needed, appropriately and effectively. Works on multiple projects as required and balances priorities by taking ownership and planning tasks related to the projects under the direction of the manager. Communicates and presents effectively with management internally and externally. Effectively documents work performed. Maintains awareness of project status and anticipates potential roadblocks that may affect project completion, communicating issues with the manager. Works effectively with numerical data and has a thorough understanding of financial principles. Utilizes critical and analytical thinking skills, with general knowledge of software tools used in job functions. Performs other duties/projects as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Performs other duties as assigned. Provides support and assistance in developing and communicating actionable information at all levels of the organization. • Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) [Required]
• Complete understanding of double entry accounting and an operational understanding of routine accounting functions [Required]
• Demonstrated ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements [Required]
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) [Required]
• Ability to handle a large number of tasks and projects at one time [Required]
