GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Making outbound phone calls and communicating with active/inactive/prospective customers to sell products and advise customers of promotions and new products. Utilize selling strategies to grow existing customers, and gain new or lost customers. A target account list will be provided.
- Provide Quotes and submit orders.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, and respond to any issues.
- Answer inbound calls from customers the agent has left messages for or calls that come in from marketing campaigns
- Refer jacket, regalia, and yearbook business opportunities to the Jostens rep of record on the account called
- Utilize the CRM tools provided to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Call center outbound/inbound call experience
- English as a strong second language
- Oral Communication – speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listen and ask appropriate questions for needed clarification.
- Written Communication – writes clearly and informatively; able to edit work for spelling and grammar errors.
- Attendance/Punctuality – is to work on time.
- Problem solving – identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; responds to request for service and assistance; meets commitments.
- Interpersonal skills – listens to others without interrupting.
