Job Description

Department: Native American Education
Reports to:  Director of Federal Programs
Placement:  Professional Exempt Salary Schedule, Grade I
Term:           See Duty Day Calendar
 

Position Summary:
This position will serve as the primary program lead and community partnerships liaison. The Pathway
Coordinator's responsibilities will focus on establishing, coordinating, and strengthening relationships
with tribal education departments, Native-led organizations, higher education partners, and community
agencies.
 

Essential Functions:
Building and sustaining formal partnerships with tribal communities and Native-serving
organizations
Coordinating community-based learning experiences and project-based learning opportunities
Serving as the primary point of contact for community partners and tribal education offices
Supporting family engagement efforts and strengthening school�community relationships
Coordinating program operations, including logistics, scheduling with partners, and alignment
with site leadership
Collaborating closely with site administrators, teachers, and the Pathway Advisor to ensure
program fidelity and consistency
Supporting program growth and potential expansion to additional campuses
Training and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or related field, or
Prior experience with developing school/business/Native American community partnerships, or any
combination of education and related experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the
position.
Experience in identifying and building collaborative Native American community resources designed to
promote successful educational and social programs within Native American communities.
 

Knowledge of:
Native American partnership development and coordination.
 

Skill In:
Building partnerships within Native American communities that are relationship-centered and community
facing.
