POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for assisting in maximizing company performance by providing analysis aimed at identifying opportunities for improved sales and margin based on current trends while mitigating the company’s exposure to unnecessary risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support channel‑level pre‑season analytics to align sales and margin budgets with strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales and margin plans through detailed financial modeling and analysis.
Produce daily financial forecasts for assigned channel(s), including sales drivers, equation modeling, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Build margin models to assess the impact of full‑price versus markdown sales mix.
Prepare daily and weekly performance summaries, delivering clear insights and actionable business recommendations.
Conduct sales risk assessments and scenario modeling to identify opportunities and mitigate potential downside.
Measure and evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Partner closely with Marketing to incorporate promotional event lift into sales forecasts and promotional planning.
Analyze inventory levels, flow, and movement across multiple channels to support optimal inventory management.
Assist in managing the company’s testing strategy, including initiative tracking and evaluation.
Design tests, analyze results, and recommend actions based on data‑driven insights.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align analytics, planning, and execution against shared strategic goals.
Support additional ad hoc analyses and projects as business needs arise.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Statistics or similar
3-5+ years’ experience, including 2+ years in a retail/consumer goods environment, with preference given to those with demonstrated career growth in brand/company/central planning, merchandise planning, finance, or allocation experience
Strong technical and system skills required
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; proactivity, exceptional aptitude with numbers; retail math skills
Builds collaborative partnerships cross-functionally; identifies/influences critical stakeholders
Ability to advance to high levels of computer literacy, exposure to relevant planning, finance, Analytical, data management systems
Developing communication and presentation skills concisely presents complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to various audiences

Ideal candidate will have strong PC proficiency with a strong emphasis in Excel and data systems such as SAP/BI
