Job Description

Amazon Customer Service is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences through data-driven insights and process improvements. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and support strategic decision-making that impacts millions of customers worldwide.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, creating reports and dashboards, and translating complex information into actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Customer Service operations to understand business needs, define requirements, and support the implementation of solutions that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about using data to solve problems and wants to make a meaningful impact on customer experience at scale.

The most exciting components of this role include working with diverse datasets, partnering with teams across the organization, and seeing your analytical work directly influence business decisions and customer outcomes.

This role can be filled in London, Luxemburg and Hyderabad.

Key job responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple teams
- Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights to leadership
- Conduct data analysis using SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools to support business decisions


Amazon Customer Service is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer experiences through data-driven insights and process improvements. In this role, you will

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages
- Experience creating complex SQL queries joining multiple datasets, ETL DW concepts
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience in SQL
- Experience in financial/business analysis
- Experience using databases with a large-scale data set
- Experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts
- Knowledge of basic descriptive statistical methods

- Knowledge of advanced statistics
- Experience with transportation-related processes and data
