Installation and Projects Technician
Department: Service - Field Service
Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time
Location: Mexico/Field based
Reporting To: Service Project Team Leader (José Vargas)
Description
· Inspection, and preparation of the site
· Installation of the machines (including anchorage)
· User training
· Machine configuration
· Dial Setup
· Force Opening of Safes
· And every other Project such as:
These activities can be done at the client’s location or at a warehouse
The Installations and projects Technician could work 75% of his time in another state or region
If it is needed the Installations and projects Technician could support the service team with corrective maintenance of various machines on different Glory Clients with activities such as:
· Cleaning, troubleshooting, configuration equipment.
· Problem solving
· Parts replacement
· Calibration
· Configuration
· System Firmware/Software/Template updates
Gathering information about new or damaged bills to help in developing new templates
He should develop a wide technical experience to analyze, understand and solve field problems.
Key Responsibilities
· Tracking client returned parts.
· Return parts property of the client to their facilities.
· Run the NDF (No defect found) on spare parts
· Charge OS and configure the operating machines.
· Diagnose system problems in minimal time and make repairs.
· Configuration and experience in the remote services management
· Escalate solving technical problems by seeking timely advice or assistance from technical support when necessary.
· Deliver parts to client facilities when it’s needed.
· Establish PM schedules and perform according to company specifications.
· Ensure overall customer satisfaction
· Responsible for assisting with and installing machines,
· Engineering Change Notices that effect current systems and upgrades.
· Hardware or software upgrades may require technical assistance or unusual or complex systems.
· Support Repair Centre to do DE equipment refurbish and maintenance process.
· Remove spare parts from equipment.
· Coordinate different types of shipping to ensure that removed parts will arrive on time to accomplish Glory’s Clients SLAs
· If it is needed to shift spare parts across different locations
· Comply with mandatory courses / trainings provided by the company.
· Spare parts inventory management
· Travel expenses control and management
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
· Engineering degree (Preferred)
Qualifications:
· Technical English (for Reading manuals).
