Are you looking to grow your career in Sales? Do you want to join a dynamic team with a proven track record of internal growth and career advancement opportunities? We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our New Zealand Sales team, based in Wellington

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:  

  • Territory Planning & Performance: Uses available data to understand performance drivers and identify opportunities, develop and execute store and territory plans to improve results.  

  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building: Builds productive relationships with buyers, owners, managers, and store teams. Listens actively to understand each store’s needs and tailor communication and engagement style based on customer preferences.  

  • Selling & Influencing: Shares recommendations confidently and uses persuasive selling techniques, creating win-win outcomes securing distribution, ranging, and display opportunities. 

  • Perfect Store & Merchandising Execution: Executes merchandising standards, relays, and planograms accurately and on time. Ensures products are wellstocked, visible, and aligned with guidelines. 

  • Ways of Working & Continuous Improvement 

  • Manages routines, time, and priorities effectively across multiple stores.  

  • Approaches challenges with a positive mindset, seeks feedback, and looks for opportunities to learn and improve. 

  • Uphold the Kraft Heinz values and to work in a way that contributes to the company’s vision. 

  • Compliance & Safety: Perform assigned tasks in accordance with all Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs and goals.  

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in interpreting, selling, and presenting with data and insights 

  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and work under pressure to tight deadlines 

  • Highly organised and commercially astute 

  • Competent in Excel and able to interpret basic data outputs. 

  • Applies Sales fundamentals with the support of Regional Field Sales Manager 

  • Sales & Commercial Skills: Demonstrates effective retail execution by identifying clear sales opportunities, interpreting simple store data, and communicating practical recommendations in a clear and relevant way. 

  • Relationship & Communication: Builds strong, trusted relationships through active listening, thoughtful questioning, and adapting communication to different stakeholders while working collaboratively to resolve issues. 

  • Personal Effectiveness: Manages priorities across multiple stores with organisation and resilience, showing initiative, ownership, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement. 

  • Holds a valid driver license and is willing to travel within territory on 4/5 working days 

  • Sales experience with a FMCG company with a proven track record / sales experience with key international or local retailers
