Job Description

Summary:

The Evaluator for Sovereign and Corporate Bonds is responsible for providing timely and accurate end-of-day evaluations on fixed income securities for LSEG Pricing Service. LSEG Pricing Service evaluations are used by banks, asset managers, index managers, wealth managers, and auditors for client statements, research, risk analysis, performance metrics, and portfolio valuation. LSEG Pricing Service provides evaluations on over 3MM securities and derivatives daily.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

• Determine the fair market value for government and corporate bonds in Asian currencies, in particular for India market.

• Aggregate and assess appropriate market color to be used in determining fair market value (trades, quotes, contributions), as well as pro-actively drive methodology / automation enhancement to improve coverage and pricing accuracy.

• Utilize technical and financial knowledge to improve coverage, accuracy, and timeliness of prices.

• Respond to price challenges in a timely manner with explanations of detailed pricing methodology.

• Work with bond desk to improve the customer experience.

• Document work procedures and methodology enhancements when needed.

• Work with various internal teams for content enhancements.

• Explain pricing methodologies to customers – both high level and individual security analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven track record of fixed income related experience, preferably in India market.

• Solid knowledge on Asian fixed income markets, especially on India market.

• Strong Excel spreadsheet skills (formulas/macros) with the ability to handle large amounts of data.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Accounting, Economics, Finance or STEM.

• Strong knowledge of fixed income mathematics.

• Able to adapt to changing needs and requirements.

• Outstanding time management skills and attention to details.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong written and verbal skills preferably with prior direct customer interactions.

• Strong work ethic and integrity.
