Job Description
The Marketing Coordinator for University Of Maryland Eastern Shore campus dining facility.
The Campus Dining Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in creating and executing marketing strategies to promote our campus dining services. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns, engaging with the campus community, and fostering a positive dining experience through effective communication and branding initiatives.
Responsibilities
Create and update marketing materials using Canva (flyers, social posts, presentations, etc.)
Support day-to-day marketing activities across multiple channels
Coordinate content updates and basic reporting using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Help manage social media posting and light content scheduling
Assist with event coordination, promotions, or off-site marketing activities as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing projects and deadlines
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Maintain organized files, assets, and marketing documentation
Travel between locations or attend off-site activities when required
Qualifications
Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or coordination role preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience using Canva to create marketing and promotional materials
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly and take on a variety of responsibilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel between locations as needed
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
