Position Overview:
The RN Associate Administrator will provide leadership, management, and oversight in the absence of administrative and management staff. This role involves facilitating patient flow, expediting patient placement, consulting on emergency situations, and addressing any challenges or concerns in collaboration with relevant departments or administrative personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) required or relevant experience. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
- Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Previous leadership experience (charge nurse or above), strongly preferred.
