Job Summary
We are seeking multiple highly skilled and NETA-certified Field Service Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrical testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on power distribution systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and protective relays. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced field environment.
Key Responsibilities

Testing & Maintenance: Perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical equipment in accordance with NETA standards.

Commissioning: Conduct electrical commissioning of new and upgraded power systems.

Calibration: Test and calibrate protective relays, transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear.

Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools such as power quality analyzers, insulation resistance testers, and thermal imaging equipment.

Technical Analysis: Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure proper system functionality.

Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports detailing test results, findings, and recommendations.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Collaboration: Partner with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.

Fieldwork: Travel to sites for fieldwork, occasionally on short notice.
Job Qualifications & Requirements

Certification: NETA Certification (Level III or IV) required.

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or maintenance.

Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power systems, and industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, NFPA 70E, etc.).

Specialization: Experience working with relay protection schemes and control systems.

Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in using electrical test equipment such as Doble, Megger, Omicron, or similar.

Soft Skills: * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check.
