Job Description

Injury and illness physical and mental health case management: Management of injury and illness safety cases Apply early intervention strategies, proactively engaging stakeholders and supporting recovery Triage of injury and analysis of root cause and work with stakeholders to mitigate Return-to-work coordination with insurer, leader, P C Business Partners and other relevant stakeholders. Workcover case management mitigating risks Incident management support: Provide initial SHW support to individuals Consulting with stakeholders, conduct investigation into root causes of workplace injuries, illness and dangerous events In conjunction with Senior P C Manager, provide practical advice and/or recommendations/solutions for leaders to enable them to prevent recurrences. SHW action tracking and closure in Risk Management system SHW Legislation: Work with Senior P C Manager to operationalise legislative updates for Great Southern Bank and update policies procedures as appropriate Use Great Southern Bank policies and procedures to provide advice to stakeholders as necessary Build capability In conjunction with Senior P C Manager and relevant stakeholders, review current safety awareness suite of training. Provide practical recommendations that assist in building relevant programs to build capability in variety of safety topics As appropriate assist in facilitating programs Engage in hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control activities: In conjunction with Senior P C Manager identify risks and hazards, consult with stakeholders to identify possible solutions On-going monitoring or hazards and risks Wellbeing and safety campaigns: Design and delivery of relevant SHW campaigns (with assistance from Senior P C Manager stakeholders): R U Ok? Day Safe Work Month Flu vaccinations Wellbeing Wednesdays Assist in other enterprise campaigns as required EAP reporting and usage Inspections, risk assessments audits Conduct/co-ordinate internal workplace inspections and risk assessments as required Provide feedback and recommendations to Senior P C Manager on the development, implementation, maintenance and effectiveness of safe systems of work. Manage administrative processes for international travellers and other internal safety compliance requirements SHW Compliance Reporting Collation of data, analysis and initial drafting of quarterly SHW reports, KRI and RAS metric reports Collation of data, data analysis and interrogation and interpretation of Workers Compensation data across all jurisdictions. Timely submission of wage reports Your experience Min 3-5 years’ experience in SHW environment Experience in proactively managing physical and mental health injuries and supporting recovery Experience in identifying hazards and risks (physical psychosocial) with a solution focus
