The Role:

As the Manager in Accounting, you will manage and be responsible for inventory, intercompany and distributor accounting activities, and provide reliable information for effective decision-making timely reporting. You will coach and develop team members fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment whilst ensuring high standards across all accounting activities. You will assist the Head of Accounting EMEA with financial close management, team building and finance projects, particularly during quarter-end periods.

The ideal candidate will be collaborative individual who can liaise well with other business department, a true leader and can contribute to process improvements.

Your Impact:

• Lead the general ledger, reporting and compliance activities for the relevant entities
• Oversee distributor accounting and inventory activities across Deckers EMEA markets
• Review, approve and reconcile intercompany transactions, resolve variances and ensure intercompany balances are cleared in a timely manner
• Support the Head of Accounting EMEA with regional projects and team development
• Lead and support across the EMEA General Ledger team

We would Love to Hear from People with:                

• Qualification in ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with post-qualification experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel
• An in-depth understanding of US GAAP and FRS102
• Knowledge in Oracle and/or Hyperion is desirable
