SUPERSTOP (a division of FGI) is a leader in the remanufacturing of brake shoes and air disc brake calipers for commercial trucks, trailers, and transit/coach applications. We are located at 160 Oakland Road (immediately south of the Perimeter Highway).
Our SUPERSTOP location in Oak Bluff has an exciting opportunity for a PARTS HANDLER to join our team!
What You Will Do:
The Parts Handler is responsible for picking and filling orders from stock, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Accurately pick parts according to the work order assembly workstations
Assist with supply of unreceived cores to the washer with the correct documentation
Verify product is picked for all workstations and remove completed work as needed
Replace broken or defective parts for each workstation as required
Sort and remove old pallets from the shop floor to the outside holding area
Empty blaster dust bin when full an scrap steel into the appropriate bins outside
Notify the administrative assistant of material shortages or incorrect inventory counts
What We Require:
High school diploma or other high school equivalency certificate or Diploma
Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience or order picker is required
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including daily lifting of 50 pounds or more, and occasionally lifting over 100 pounds with assistance; constant standing, walking, pushing and pulling of pallet jacks or shopping carts within FGI facilities; reaching and working at varying heights; and climbing stairs and/or ladders.
Experience operating a forklift, using a RF scanner and familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required
Occasionally required to work Saturdays and overtime to meet business demands
