It involves leading assessments, managing compliance projects, training teams, and ensuring accurate reporting of key performance indicators and savings related to customs activities. The position also collaborates closely with internal functions and external authorities, supporting audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory and financial control frameworks. Overall, the role has a significant impact on ensuring smooth cross-border product flow and maintaining product availability across markets.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Responsible of the due diligence on sanctions screening activities according to Sandoz scope of sanctions regulations. Perform the assessments on export control monitoring based on Sandoz scope of export controls using ticketing system
- Provide the arguments, reports and expertise in case assigned customs classification is challenged by the local customs authority. Provide the training on customs classification for internal Sandoz network
- Lead Global Customs and Trade Compliance assessments for small and medium entities. Lead small - medium Projects related to customs and trade compliance area and the system.
- Gather, consolidate and report the Customs and Trade Compliance Key performance indicator and statistics to the Supply Chain management.
- Oversee and support Sandoz entities in the region or country responsible for during external audit from local customs authorities
- Collaborate with internal Sandoz functions such as Supply Chain Management, Finance (Indirect Tax and Transfer Pricing) and Legal Trade Sanctions as well as external partners
- Support and ensure the Sandoz Financial Control Framework (SFCF) of the region or country responsible for
- Supporting Global CTC Manager in working group providing analysis and assessments on CTC topics
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar Supply Chain role.
- Formal education in technical or business area. Certified International Trade Expert
- Experience in customs clearance, trade compliance, international trade and controlled substances.
- Experience in SAP or similar ERP system on Sales and Distribution and Foreign Trade Modules are advantage.
