Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze clients’ businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners
- Originate/execute meaningful transactions with Chinese corporate and public sector clients
- Collaborate with Banking and Capital Markets to identify Markets cross sell opportunity for all private and public side opportunities
- Drive client engagement through buying and selling of securities and providing hedging or financing solutions using derivatives for all asset classes (Rates/FX/Spread Products/Commodities/Equities)
- Develop a coordinated strategy across specified product lines (local, regional and/or global)
- Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of clients
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Preferably 12+ years of experience
- Previous experience in international bank or top tier Securities firms in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
- An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
