Your next career opportunity: 
In this role, you will drive venue hire revenue, customer service excellence and deliver high-quality events across a unique venue portfolio inclusive of galleries and museums. You will partner with clients, colleagues and suppliers to create seamless experiences in distinctive cultural environments. You will refine your sales, financial administration and event coordination skills while contributing to the University’s cultural strategy. 

What you will deliver: 

  • Manage the inbound venue hire sales cycle, from enquiry and proposals, through to confirmed bookings and contracts. 

  • Coordinate seamless delivery of events, including client liaison, site inspections, calendar management and logistics planning. 

  • Develop and monitor financial processes, supporting accurate invoicing, payment tracking and revenue reporting. 

  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings and client data using event and space management systems – Elite.  

  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to enhance client experience, operational efficiency and compliance across venues. 

  • Support marketing and business development activities including attending networking events and tradeshows, updating client facing materials and third party listings.  
     

You may be a great fit if you: 

  • Bring demonstrated sales experience in events, venue hire or GLAM organisations. 

  • Plan and deliver events in complex, multi-stakeholder environments with strong attention to operational detail. 

  • Manage invoicing, payment tracking and reconciliation for multiple events at once. 

  • Balance competing deadlines using effective organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Build productive relationships with diverse clients, colleagues and external suppliers to achieve positive event outcomes. 

  • Use event management or CRM systems and contribute ideas to improve processes and client service.
