Payroll Support Administrator

We're excited to be recruiting for 2 x Payroll Support Administrators (perm and FTC) to join our People Team
Reporting to the People Services Lead, Payroll Support Administrators will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for colleagues across ROI and NI using Workday, maintaining data integrity, compliance with statutory requirements and company policies, and providing excellent service to colleagues on payroll-related queries
You’ll work closely with the People team and Finance department to support payroll, and related HR processes across the all-Ireland region

You'll work majority of your week away from home
Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events
This role can be based in Derry, Belfast or Dublin
What you’ll be doing: Process monthly payroll for ROI and NI using Workday, including data validation, leaves, overtime, new hires, terminations, and salary/benefit adjustments
Maintain and verify employee data in Workday and Excel, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Prepare, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies in payroll reports swiftly
Administer employee benefits, deductions, pensions, and share schemes where applicable
Respond professionally to payroll-related queries from colleagues
Ensure compliance with local laws and data protection regulations (GDPR)
Test and implement Workday updates and configurations, collaborating with the Workday team and stakeholders
Document payroll processes and maintain up-to-date SOPs; provide training to HR colleagues
Manage cross-border payroll processes and liaise with People Services and Finance to ensure policy consistency
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency and controls
About you: Minimum of 2 years payroll experience, ideally in an all-Ireland or cross-border environment (essential) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; payroll or HR certification (desirable) Proven experience with Workday HRIS, Payroll, and reporting modules Advanced skills in MS Excel Strong understanding of ROI and NI payroll legislation, including PAYE, PRSI, USC (ROI), and NI tax rules Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions.
