Job Description

What you will be doing

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment following proper procedures.
  • Keep kitchen areas, floors, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.
  • Assist kitchen team members with basic food preparation and cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Remove trash and maintain proper disposal procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are followed according to health department and hotel guidelines.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of clean dishes and equipment during meal periods and events.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies.
  • Follow all safety procedures and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Support the culinary team during busy service periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
