Job Description
What you will be doing
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment following proper procedures.
- Keep kitchen areas, floors, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized.
- Assist kitchen team members with basic food preparation and cleaning tasks as needed.
- Remove trash and maintain proper disposal procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are followed according to health department and hotel guidelines.
- Maintain adequate supplies of clean dishes and equipment during meal periods and events.
- Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Support the culinary team during busy service periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
