As an Office Manager & Homework Café® Teacher, you will serve as the welcoming face of our campus, managing reception responsibilities, supporting daily operations, and providing exceptional service to students, families, and staff.
In this dual role, you will also work directly with students in our Homework Café® spaces, offering academic support and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment
This unique position blends front office leadership with hands-on student interaction.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on both teaching and community engagement, bringing warmth and organization to the campus while ensuring students receive high-quality instruction and support.
*This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time, contingent upon student enrollment.
What You'll Do as an Office Manager:
- Create a warm, professional first impression and ongoing celebrity experience for all visitors.
- Keep campus operations running smoothly — including records, tuition payments, student medications & communications.
- Support events like Graduation, Prom, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and aesthetically inviting campus.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Do as a Homework Café® Teacher:
- Monitor and help students’ progress in completion of homework and with executive functioning skills.
- Communicate with teachers and parents on student progress.
- Promote a positive social environment for students.
- Adapt support to meet each learner’s needs.
- Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
- Contribute to campus life or culture.
- Keep student records accurate and organized.
- Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to support students with a wide range of assignments.
- Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
- Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
- Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
