Shift hours are M-F 0700-1530. Some weekend and holiday requirements depending on on-call schedule.
Maintains HVAC equipment at optimum efficiency using accepted procedures. Maintains complete and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Monitors work performed by outside contractors to ensure requirements are met and results are documented. Reports hazardous situations and needed repairs to appropriate personnel. Keeps current on maintenance logs and new developments in HVAC technology. Attends departmental in-services, education programs, and seminars as needed. Other duties as assigned. Responds promptly to all calls for emergency repairs of HVAC equipment. Diagnoses and repairs system malfunctions on HVAC equipment. Schedules and performs preventative maintenance including inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, lubricating, repairing, and replacing HVAC components. Performs and documents scheduled inspections and safety tests, maintaining code compliance. Performs major overhauls and rebuilds of HVAC systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• N/A
Education:
• High School/Equivalent OR 5+ years experience [Required]
Work Experience:
• 3+ work experience in the field [Required]
• 2+ years commercial experience [Preferred]
• 2+ years healthcare experience [Preferred]
