Nature & Scope of Job:
• Basic understanding of Peoplesoft Human Capital Management (HCM) module and PeopleTools is required.
• Understanding and running/writing Oracle SQL queries to analyze data and create reports.
• Responsible for understanding
, Coding and Unit Testing.
• Provides UAT and Post Implementation Support.
• Comply with project management methodology
as appropriate
• Work with testing partners and cross-functional teams across different geographies
General Skills/Requirements:
• Bachelor of Technology Degree is required
• Must have strong written (email) and oral communication skills
• Must have experience working in Application Development team.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft tools like Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Action oriented and should have the ability to drive the activities independently
• Should be motivated to grow in the job role
• Retail experience desirable but not required
Critical Skills/Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on Development experience in PeopleSoft 9.0 or higher
• Working Project experience in HR module or Human Capital Management (HCM).
• Development expertise in People Tools 8.x or above.
• Experience with Oracle Database and Unix/Linux Operating Systems.
• Excellent skills in writing complex Oracle SQL queries.
• Experience with Excel for data analysis
• Must have development and expert knowledge in creating and modifying Application Engine / SQR.
• Expertise in People Code Events (Component, Page, Record) and hands on experience in building Component Interfaces.
• Knowledge in Unix Scripting language will be an added advantage.
• Experience with ticketing tools like Remedy, Service Now.
• Experience with issue tracking and agile software development, JIRA preferred.
• Excellent corporate global communication skills, both oral and written.
• Finely tuned analytic and creative skills for problem solving and suggesting alternatives.
• Experience working in a global delivery model is a must.
