Descripción del puesto Lead the APEX operation in Colombia, ensuring the achievement of the business’s strategic objectives, with a primary focus on commercial growth, adoption of the product portfolio (APEX On the Move, APEX Shop, APX Guaranteed), and sustainable profitability, driving continuous transformation of the operating model and the evolution of value-driven solutions for local clients and partners. Responsabilidades Lead the commercial strategy of APEX in Colombia, defining sales plans, pricing, and go-to-market strategies for each solution within the portfolio. Personally drive the closing of opportunities with local and multinational clients operating in Colombia, as well as sister agencies within the group (Spark, Digitas, Zenith, Starcom). Ensure the adoption and market penetration of APEX products in Colombia (opt-in, CAPs, share per client). Define and execute APEX’s growth and positioning strategy in Colombia. Manage strategic relationships with media partners operating in Colombia (Mercado Libre, Disney, Caracol, RCN, local retailers), negotiating preferential agreements for the agency. Ensure margins, operational efficiency, and financial compliance (forecasting, contracts, systems, executive reporting). Oversee operational processes and audits. Lead the product and solutions evolution roadmap in the local market (new verticals such as Influencers via APEX, retail media, CTV). Build business cases with clear ROI (hard savings, soft savings, local inflation mitigation) to advocate for APEX before clients and internal committees. Active commercial management: prospecting, consultative selling, closing, and renewals with CEOs, CMOs, and client procurement teams in Colombia. Strategic leadership and organizational development of the local team. Negotiation of agreements with partners, suppliers, and group agencies. Coordination with Pricing, Finance, Legal, HR, Strategy, PMX, GMS, and Epsilon. Development of business cases, commercial proposals, and fol Monitoring business performance, APEX Colombia P&L, and optimization opportunities. Internal and external evangelization of the APEX portfolio (training sessions, client meetings, product showcase spaces). Cualificaciones Strong commercial profile: proven experience closing deals in the Colombian media market. Knowledge of the APEX portfolio and the GMS ecosystem (APEX On the Move, APEX Shop, APX Guaranteed, AVBs, PMX Lift). – Not required for external candidates. Expertise in the Colombian media ecosystem (Programmatic, PMPs, Retail Media, CTV/OTV, OOH, PTV, Radio). Strategic thinking and business vision. Advanced commercial negotiation experience and local partner management. Leadership of multidisciplinary and commercial teams. Analytical capacity, results-oriented mindset, and P&L management. Development of scalable commercial products and solutions for the local market. Financial management, profitability, and investment optimization. Proficiency in reporting tools, CRM (Salesforce – training provided for both external and internal candidates), and business systems. Professional with extensive experience in leading media, marketing, or advertising businesses in Colombia, with a proven commercial track record. Previous experience in commercial leadership roles or trading desks. Active network of contacts with digital partners, broadcasters, retailers, and top media players in the Colombian market. Strong influencing skills, executive communication, and commercial storytelling. Innovation-driven mindset with a focus on business transformation and growth. Bilingual Spanish/English (ideally with strong English communication skills).
