Because while individuals can do well, together we achieve something extraordinary.

Pitch Executive (m/f/d) | Germany

We are looking for a commercially minded, AI-driven and persuasive writer to join our German Marketing & Business Development team as a Pitch Executive. This role sits at the heart of how we win work: you will manage pitches and proposals end to end, partner with our lawyers to craft compelling, on-brand submissions, and help us continuously raise both the quality and the success rate of everything we put in front of clients and targets.

The role can be based in any of our four German offices - Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg or Düsseldorf - and works very close with colleagues across our German Marketing & Business Development (MBD) team

Your team

You will report to the Head of Marketing & Business Development Germany and work alongside a collaborative team that covers the full BD spectrum - winning work, marketing, client relationship management, brand & creative, events and internal and external communications. Pitching is your primary focus, but you will never work in isolation: you draw on, and contribute to, the wider team's expertise every day.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and project-manage transactional and strategic pitches from kick-off to submission - owning the timeline, coordinating contributors and ensuring a seamless, deadline-driven process
  • Develop high quality materials and templates for use in bids and presentations to convey NRF positioning in Germany, experience and sales messages to clients and targets
  • Ensure every submission adheres to our brand identity and pricing procedures
  • Build and maintain a high-quality library of pitch materials, templates, credentials and capability statements for reuse across bids and presentations
  • Act as an ambassador for pitch best practice, helping partners and associates understand and follow the bid process as second nature
  • Analyse win/loss rates and turn the insights into concrete recommendations to improve our success rate
  • Stay close to relevant global and local MBD products and tools that can strengthen our proposals
  • Optimize the pitch processes and be a AI mastermind in this field
  • Set up training programs for Pas, partners and the MBD team in regards to get the pitches on the next level

Your profile

You are drawn to an ambitious, high-standard firm and energised, not daunted, by managing many pitches at once. You are engaging, persuasive and assertive, a strong communicator who can stand your ground diplomatically without losing sight of detail or deadlines. Your people skills and sense of responsibility win the trust of partners and associates alike. You are creative, reliable and service-oriented, and you bring a good dose of humor that lets you keep things in perspective when the pressure is on.

Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
  • Excellent free-text drafting and persuasive writing skills
  • Accurate spelling, meticulous proofreading and absolute attention to detail
  • Confident command of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Apps) and AI tools
  • Executive level: at least 2 years' experience in a comparable BD, pitch or proposals role
  • Senior Executive level: a correspondingly stronger track record, ideally in professional services or another partnership environment
  • A proactive self-starter who handles multiple tight deadlines with a calm, resilient attitude
  • Ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels
  • Reliable, flexible, results-oriented and a natural problem solver with a strong work ethic and the drive to make the most of the opportunity
