About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Chef to join Jumeirah Olhahali Island.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Oversee all culinary operations across the property, ensuring exceptional food quality, refined presentation, and a consistently elevated luxury dining experience aligned with brand expectations.
- Drive the culinary vision of the property in partnership with the Hotel leadership team, contributing to the continued positioning of the hotel within the global luxury and fine dining landscape.
- Inspire, lead, and develop high-performing kitchen teams through a visible, hands-on leadership style, fostering a strong culture of creativity, discipline, collaboration, and operational excellence across all culinary functions.
- Lead menu innovation and seasonal culinary concepts in collaboration with F&B leadership, curating distinctive dining experiences that elevate guest satisfaction.
- Oversee culinary performance across all operational and commercial areas, including food cost management, inventory control, supplier partnerships, and waste optimisation to drive sustainable financial performance.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, maintaining impeccable standards of kitchen cleanliness, operational integrity, and culinary consistency across all outlets.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive senior culinary leadership experience within luxury hospitality, large-scale resort operations, internationally recognised dining concepts, or complex multi-outlet environments, with exposure to remote or destination properties considered a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting world-class, guest-centric culinary experiences, with a strong ability to translate creative vision into distinctive, best-in-class dining concepts that elevate the overall guest journey.
- Proven track record of leading by example and inspiring high-performing, diverse culinary teams, fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, creativity, and continuous development in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Strong culinary innovation and concept development capability, including menu engineering, seasonal programming, and the creation of commercially successful, trend-leading dining experiences.
- Advanced business and financial acumen, with deep expertise in food cost management, labour optimisation, budgeting, and driving sustainable profitability without compromising culinary excellence.
